I should have added. As you pull it in use a thin blade or putty knife to pry the hull out and the deck in. Once it is lining up use surgical hose or something similar to wrap around the boat really tight and pull the deck down. The straps you use for hauling the kayak work also just slide some wedges in right on the edge of the deck. It should pop right into place.
