Most definitely taping the inside first. There is a bit of sanding and cleaning up to do where the hatch rims are attached, so it's coming apart before it really goes back together. This was just because I was bored waiting for epoxy to cure and wanted to check that everything still lined up. It closes up with slight pressure, so I think I'm good. I'll need to push the hull outwards in a couple of places by 1/8" or so to make it even all the way around. I figure I can do that with some spreaders. Again, it's only taking minimal pressure to push everything into place so I'm pretty happy that I don't have any major problems there.
