Just to share, I dry fit the deck to the hull and it looks like it's going to come together nicely. I also spent this morning cutting strips from the longer scraps that I had left over. Mostly about 48" long, two or three that are 60" long. I'll have enough to tape the outside seam in 4 oz, so that is what I'll do. While this may not be to the exacting standards of the pros on this forum I'm quite happy with my boat.
