I'm reskinning a couple of SOFs and I want to replace the float bags. The old ones are from Walden Kayaks. They seem pretty nice but that company appears to not be in business anymore. Any suggestions at which current brand is best? These are 17 and 18-foot baidarka style boats.

TIA,

Dan

Dan:
When I last checked, Kayak Academy (George Gronseth) was still selling float bags that fit the Mariner kayaks.
They will be the right size range to do the job for you, I think.
Most of the bags I see online are the tiny ones for WW boats.

DIY bags aren't that difficult to make, if you are interested in that alternative.
The diy ones would probably be more expensive, once you collect (with shipping) all the components you'll need.
