I used contact cement to glue two pieces of countertop laminate together then glued two wood handles to it at an angle to match my hand position during a sanding stroke. I spray glue sandpaper to this board. It has just the right flexibility and has lasted several years although I don't sand much with it as a ROS does just fine.
