if more spare time, you just might not be finished:
- so what about ditching those wheel fenders, making a smaller version take-off [almost identical, but scaled down] of the top 2 panels of your camper in their place, and then painting out just the frame [not the tongue or light fittings] to be a flat black so as not to compete with all the neat stuff you've just built on top? That way one's eye [and your work] is brought down and below the frame. [If you like steel fenders, just bolt on your covers]
