This is a kayak building board. Thus getting irate about computer platforms is kind of silly. The tool you can use is a good tool. Everyone has their preferences. Denigrating the preferences of others is at the very least in poor taste.
Macs are OK. Windows boxes are OK. Linux boxes are OK. Just depends on which tool works for you. It's like arguing the comparative quality of Veritas planes over Lee Nielson over original Stanley. They all are awesome tools.
Use what works for you. Refrain from insulting what works for others.
