Strip: Cape Ann Storm Deck Modifications

The bug is biting me to start another build. I am interested in either the One Ocean 'Expedition' or the 'Storm'.
I am 6'3", and probably weigh 210 lbs with normal clothing and equipment.

Vaclav has indicated that the 'Storm' would be too small for me - probably because of my size 13 shoes. Actually, I have measured, and my foot length while wearing my paddling shoes is 11 inches.

Anyway, I really like the size of the 'Storm' and I'm wondering if a slight modification to the deck in front of the cockpit is feasible. I have built several strip boats as well as S&G and SIF so I think I would not have any trouble with the woodworking end of the changes - just wondering if there is any reason a slight change, to the deck only, would present any problems.
