I've used the brackets he is using and I was unable to get any pressure on the glueline.
If you actually get some its only at the frames.

When I do it I put tape next to the frame and in the middle of the bays - 2 or 3 spots.

You really need to try it and see what you think.
This talking about it will never convince you and it depends upon exactly what you do.

Rob had another whole method which I'm sure works, but I could never get good enough hot glue to trust the method.
