In Response To: Off Topic: Codgers communicating *PIC* (Etienne Muller)

When I visit this forum I'm inspired by the diversity of locations, skills, and backgrounds most members share. Now I am in my sixties I feel a duty to share my history of projects and skills with others.
I've paddled most of my life here in Southern Ontario, Canada, but in the last few years have been building kayaks. I remain physically active and feel fortunate to be able to still tour-paddle and mountain bike regularly.
Over this winter I'm building (in cedar strips) a replica of a 100 year old kayak artifact from Ungava Bay. I'm working with the design drawings and dimensions from the Canadian Museum of Civilization. Will share.
