Do any members have any input on Silver Tip resin and hardeners?

I've used SilverTip on a couple of cockpit coamings and seats where I wanted the carbon fiber to show. It seems to work fine- not colourless, but close enough. I bought a couple of jugs on my last trip to Seattle.

I buy WEST hardener in gallon cans, so it's often old enough to give a noticeable amber tint to the epoxy mix - not what I want on top of $$ carbon.
I still use WEST for normal lamination - I generally preheat the resin and the work to promote wetout in my (usually cool West Coast) garage shop.
If Silvertip were competitive with WEST on price here in Victoria BC (it isn't - it's a lot more) I might consider it for general use. I don't like the smell (it has some), and I had a lot of blush problems when I used gallons of SystemThree (not Silvertip) on a sailboat 25 yrs ago, so those factors add to my bias.
Another thing about SystemThree is that the pump 'shots' are larger than with WEST 105/205 , so I end up with more waste on small jobs. Not a huge deal, as even a full shot is probably less money than a boutique coffee these days.
