Geez,I was almost weaned off.
Ive been paddling,mostly and codgertating.
Speaking of which,I will have been paddling sea kayaks for 50 years this July.
I spotted Tarka ,the otter,at the top of the Tamar ,sw England,many moons ago named my first kayak there and then.I called my first Bidarka stripper Taka Tu as homage to my first boat and homage to my South pacific adopted homeland and it's Maori lingo.Second Bidarka is called Offcut,for obvious reasons.
'Can't be bothered with the ins and outs of saw blades now.My upside down skill saw was more than adequate and my roving Knife just a screw in the bench!
I will keep on paddling and find one of many sea caves to lurk in,for now.Whoosh round our coastline rocks on the ample South Pacific swells.Lay up on one of many a deserted island beach and snooze out of the sun wrapped up in my trusty tarpaulin being a part time intertidal sea hobo.
