I'm in central New Hampshire. wood burning stoves are everywhere here. Temps range down to -10 F in the winter, with a diurnal temp variation of 25 degrees. I heat my shop, which is in a separate building, with a wood stove. I have plenty of firewood available. I have a propane torpedo and an electric oil heater, that I rarely use. The wood stove is nice because I can get rid of wood scraps and cardboard shipping boxes.
