Brought the boat out of the basement for the first time since painting. The hull was finished about 40 hours ago and it needs 72 hours before walking on it so I put it on a tarp to keep it off the grass (I could see the sticks and Sweetgum seed pods eyeing that fresh paint as I brought it out)

I plan to give it a few days before we add the rigging. I think my son plans to add some artwork with acrylic hobby paint. I'll try to post a pic or two from the launch and give an update of how the paint performs so that those who find themselves in my position in the future will have another resource to cause them either comfort or worry.
