Jay, I've been using a Turbo WW double, made in Ontario, for 10 years, it's a beautifully balanced double, I've had no issues using it...might be not so great for rolling...but I don't roll...except in the midriff as I age. 😜 The bottom line is that these paddles are meant for quick speed and they haul a ton of water. They shouldn't be used unless you aim to fight hard currents and don't mind a lot of water noise during a quiet paddle.
