The question I have is what is it you want the kayak to do? Why do you think you want a 10 to 12 foot boat? Who is going to be paddling it; Ie height (arm length), weight, strength). Where do you plan to paddle, and in what conditions? All of these change to characteristics desired in a kayak. With a better idea of your goals the people on this site can give you all sorts of recomendations but otherwise we are shooting in the dark.
