I love Gorilla Glue for certain applications, like laminating paddle blanks. It's very strong, but it requires tight joints and solid clamping for best results. Here's a video that demonstrates that very graphically:

OTOH, it's not much stronger than yellow glue, which works fine with gaps in the joint. Actually, in this test, yellow glue is slightly stronger with a gap in the joint than with a tight joint.
