It's been a long time since I've posted, but a neighbor is selling a cedar strip Reliance double for a client of his. He is asking me because I have built a lot of kayaks, but I know next to nothing about doubles, aside from finding them too large and cumbersome for me to enjoy.

It is used but in reasonable shape. It is a few stress marks where the glass weave shows. There are also some cracks in the rear hatch rim. The builder did a good job of stripping with an attractive, but basic pinstripe design. It is painted on the inside and the paint is wearing off where the feet rub. It feels like it is on the heavy side, around 100 pounds. There is no ruder and it come with two fiberglass bending branches paddles. The owner said it was made and blessed by natives.

Below is a link to the design. I did not get a picture of it.

If anyone has a ballpark on a starting price, I'd appreciate it so I can pass that info on.

Thanks,
Mike
