I have now.

Jeff's map says scale is 1: 38000.

Jeff's maps says, "navigating with it should be limited to determining approximate direction of travel".

Mariner's use charts.

The Canadian Hydrographic Service Small Craft Charts are larger scale 1:20000, with more information and detail.

I like all the information I can get. I'd get both and see which works best for what you want to do.

If you will paddle in open waters from island to island, Jeff's map will work fine.

I like to explore and love navigating the labyrinths in Georgian Bay to see how good I am, so I carry the Small Craft Charts.
