I don't know where you are located, but I would never use graphite inside where I am in Texas.

You would be scalded when you get in, then baked as you paddle in the summer.
Unless you painted the graphite surface white - then why bother?

I'm now using 4oz for inside and outside glass laminates. Saves a bit of weight.

Nick used graphite to reinforce 1/8" strips. Since you are not that thin it doesn't seem to be worth the cost/ effort.
I saw on Nick's Wooden boat classes that he is putting the graphite into the hull using resin infusion. Boggles my mind.
