It's not overly expensive for professional coatings. It's cheaper than some wood finishes (like KemVar). A lot of shops will give you the jobber price if you ask for it just because it makes them uncomfortable to say no, so that works in your favor... It didn't take any pushing for the tech guy to say that the thinner was MEK and to use that for cleanup, but I still feel more comfortable using their thinner for spraying the product. The only other thing I will say about it that is different from other stuff I have used is that cleaning is important. Use a disposable cup or liner. I use a pressure pot and a disposable cup in that. I had a mishap that involved taking apart my gun and sanding my kayak the next day... I just don't mess with it any more.
