Here is a photo of a takedown paddle I recently finished using a carbon fiber ferrule I got from Duckworks. Most of the wood is WRC and it has an ash spline. I made the shoulders asymmetrical as an experiment. The "finish" is epoxy. (The ferrule on my other takedown paddle was loose - so I reglued it. Unfortunately, some of the glue got inside the joint and now it is a one piece paddle. Oh well, I wanted to make another anyway.)
