i'm not sure we're talking about the same thing or maybe i wasn't clear. when i wet out the glass over the okumie, it was a normal procedure, it was all the fill coats that were done as a worst case scenario. when i pull the epoxy coated glass off the okumie it doesn't fail, it destroys the plywood, it delaminates the plywood, it takes about 1/16 of the 4mm okumie with it as i pull it off. so in other words the bonding of the glass to the plywood is stronger than the wood. the wood fails.
