Have ya'll seen the Rockler Bandy Clamps?
http://www.rockler.com/rockler-bandy-clamps
I couldn't get a picture, but these look perfect for clamping a strip, both for no step and to get pressure on the joint.
Too expensive compared to the HD clamps everyone is talking about.

Any ideas how to make replacement plastic tip pads for the HD clamps, connected like the bendy clamps?
Could be a cheap addition with a good idea.
