Hi Scott,

Well it sounds tough but still good news.

I'd put a bathroom style exhaust fan, doesn't need a lot of cfm's but quiet is good and plumb that outside for residual dust, keeps the work area in a very slight vacuum so air is drawn into the shop from the house and keeps it out of the house. Dust in the house that you can't get away from is more of a problem than that in the shop where you are only there for a couple hours.

I like a central vacuum system after having one, flows vastly more air flow than any shop vac, thus cleans the air of dust far better. Get one with disposable bottom filter bags, dumping a canvas one is a pain (mine has the canvas one). It's worth the investment to me anyway. Mine's a Powermatic because at the time it was on sale but there are nice ones that aren't as much money, Grizzly for one.

I agree with John, the Hobby Air supplied air respirator is a great idea.
