We were told it was teak and based on much teak furniture I have seen I would say it is indeed teak. We had it priced by a custom kayak builder who's kayaks sell for $4500-$500 and were told it's worth a couple thousand dollars. I put it up for sale tonight for $1000. Hopefully that will get it gone fast. Also I just read all the replies, not sure who asked but it is 14 feet long.
