Marc,

There is no way to tell.
Often it will never show up.
I believe it sometimes shows up in situations of High humidity - but not always.

Someone help me if you know what conditions actually cause blush.

I would cut a brush off to get a fairly stiff bristle. That allows you to push it down and get to the bottom of the pit to break up the blush.
