Alright Marc, I have decided to carve down a block of wood. It is going to be simple with no sort of different wood for details. I have abundance of redwood I will be gluing together. I have seen some YouTube videos on carving out tractor seats and there are more for me to view.

I have wanted a 4.5" saw chainsaw disk for awhile now, so I figured I would treat myself to a new tool for the shop.

I am working on my kayak now so it wil be a little while till I get going on the seat carving. When I do get some pictures I will post them.

The key is getting the seat down to as thin as possible. I saw a video, and the man was drilling small holes to the depth needed. This would prevent him going to deep or not deep enough.
