I like the pygmy system especially the black cam levers, I use 3 straps per hatch not 2. I don't know that you need 3 but it is a more balanced look. I don't like the half dowel Pygmy puts on the hatch, it distracts from the sleek lines of the kayak. Kind of like putting a kangaroo guard on a sports car. I just put an inverted webbing 3 bar slide near the edge of the lid it looks cleaner. Just have to ignore all the experts on the beach that tell you you have that thingy on upside down. Ignore the water stains in the picture, kayaks are made to get wet.
