It looks like 3/16 or less it has flattened.
What I would do is take a hack saw blade (you can use a hack saw blade holder) and slice in below the bracing and cut them off on the inside cover surfsce. Then taper them a bit more so you bend in more side curve. Re-clamp and epoxy. A bit of a guess, but I think you could be right on the money or real close.

I would think if your curve under the hatch is increased by the amount you measure it flattened, it should work.
