The Microbootlegger deck is nearly flat, at least it looks that way on the plans. At least the center section of the deck could be book matched if you wanted to go thru the effort. Looks like you could use fairly wide planks there, would take a lot of planing to get them to thickness though. Might want to invest in an electric plane if you want to do that.

The effect with even a 6" wide plank on either side of the center line could be stunning.
