Well its good to have one issue definitely eliminated.
Those strips should be plenty dry:)
How big are the gaps?
I often have occasional gaps which I have learned to only fill with wood.
A painstaking process of cutting of carving a thin strip, carefully sanding to fit and installing with a medium viscosity super glue (takes less time to be ready to fit the next).
You can fit the filler in shorter sections (for a long gap) and it can be invisible when the glass is applied. Depends on how you did for each joint.

Last boat I tried to buy commercial filler, carefully matching the color, only to have the color fade out as soon as the epoxy coating hit it. Major upset on my part, but too late since the glass cloth was on.

Contrary to what I said (restrip it) before, you might as well try a repair, it can only cost a little time (compared to 4.5 years) and you can always decide if you are satisfied after the work.

One other technique for lines that are partially filled with titebond, is to run a line of superglue in the crack, sand next to it to get some wood flour or dust, rub the dust into and over the gap and then use accelerator to set it. Sand after 10 minutes and see how it looks. It can be amazingly effective. It does fill up the gap with superglue, so if you don't get the dust into the glue you don't have a recourse.

Good luck.
