In Response To: S&G: Why Cu Wire? (Emile Zen)

Hi Emile!

For my latest S&G builds I haven't used ANY wire. I "stitch" the panels together with masking and duck tape. I only drill a few holes to align the panels and stations. I generally use the green type of masking tape. It's stretchy and doesn't tear as easy. For more power I'll use duck tape. The heavy black stuff releases with no residue. It's much faster, holds well, is easy to adjust and remove. That said, depending on the design, I may have to add a wire or two in the ends for troublesome areas.

Here's a BTD Alleq I built over the summer.

Look Ma! No holes!!
