Chris, This is a true story,when I finished my first boat and was ready to load it on my pickup I asked my wife to help me lift it to the racks, when we were going through the doorway she stumbled a little and the kayak rubbed against the door closure piston and scratched the side. Well she ws really sorry and ready to cry when I said follow me, I showed her the scratch we just made then said again follow me we went to the other side and I showed her the scratch that I made earlier in the shop and said that I beat her to it, We both had a good laugh. The moral is enjoy your boat it can always be fixed,after all YOU built it. All the best Nick R.
