So long as it's not fibreglassed yet. it should be pretty easy to fix.

If there is no internal stem, simply cut the bow down the centre-line, it should then be fairly easy to bend straight, then using lots of glue and as many clamps as you can fit, glue the halves back to gether again, then clean it all up with your block plane and sandpaper.

If you have an internal stem, you will have to cut the stem in half as well, and you will not be able to make such a neat job of gluing the halves back together.

In either case I would definitely add an external stem (laminate very thin ~1mm strips of hardwood to make this) to tidy it up and strengthen it.
