Great options. Thank you Scott and Bill. Wish I could paddle each a bit. I tried to go up to Redfish Kayaks in Port Townsend where I live to try out his designs. Sadly, I missed him. I tried a bunch of the Pygmy boats while I was up there, and liked their Coho. The Osprey was decent, but this was just paddling around the anchorage near their shop. I want to make a strip kayak as well, and not just add a strip deck on a stitch and glue boat.

Scott, you obviously use your boats a lot. I will only go out a couple of times a week for an hour or 2, and have inconsistent dizziness, so I would prefer something with higher primary stability. I like the Georgian Bay. Something to look into.
