that is just the info I was looking for. Thanks for offering the file - I have a mac and unfortunately can't run the program. I've been planning on building an SoF kayak, and seeing your Avocet has made me decide to make an SoF with dimensions very similar to yours, with a relatively flat bottom, and 15'. Beam would be about 24-25". I also have a 5DII and a 500, and there is a nice lake nearby with plenty of wildlife, so this is the type of boat I would want to take my camera gear out in. It would also be a good starting boat for my kids, who are 12 and 14.
Of course since one is not enough, I'll make a second in more traditional proportions.
