Btw, much of the ideal angle for your feet against the bulkhead will depend on your fit in the boat, if your legs are splayed wide the angle will be much different than if your legs are straight out.

The 15 degree angle would be better if your legs are straight out, so the ideal angle will be different depending on the person's size and the boat they are paddling.
