Nick, I am assuming your knit covers, as much as I like them, would do very little at keeping all the road grime off the boats? If I understand the material you're using it wouldn't really keep the boats clean? That is my goal, to be able to travel and show up with clean boats.

The knit material keeps most of the road grime off but is not impervious. A wipe down with a rag is required.
