Skin-on-Frame: flooring

Hi: I am building Dave Gentry's Disko Bay and am in the process of installing the flooring.
I am mounting 1/8" aluminum brackets on the frames and attaching 2" oak boards. My question
is, what is the best method of attaching the boards to the brackets? I am thinking of lashing them,
per Dave's instructions, but not sure how to run the lashing so the boards don't shift around.
Any suggestions? Thanks, Jack
