In Response To: Tools: Steel or Plastic spring clamps? (Wendell Nichols)

Some people seem to love the plastic ones. I've had lousy luck with them though, every one I had I've broken. All my steel clamps still work after lots of use. Not all of the steel ones have the same tension, those from Harbor Freight have the least tension that I've found. Has nothing to do with what it's made of, has everything to do with what spring they use.
