Is there a jig available that will accept such a small blade ?

Sharpening very short blades is difficult (impossible with a very short blade) using the 'ride on the stone' jigs I've come across. The Eclipse jig (and knockoffs of it)

and the Veritas jig were both not very useful for very short blades, for me.
(Some of the luthier planes have short blades, even shorter than a modelmaker plane)
I had better luck with the old General jig which rides 'off the stone':

There's a newer version which I haven't used:

The Brian Burns system jig is excellent but no longer available AFAIK.
