I don't normally dote over tools and have no issue with something just "good enough"...but for something as repetitive as planing strips, over hundreds of hours, every little feature that addresses your comfort while handling the tool becomes a big deal, and just working for a few minutes with some of those smaller unwieldy planes made me hate the process (at least enough to go and find the right tool).

But just having access to the fine grained adjustments was worth the price of admission alone...I'm very happy with this purchase and I imagine I'll be kitting out with more LV tools as the needs arise :)
