Thanks for the nod Mark...I've never been shy about confessing if I don't know about something. This is too complex of a project to let something as fundamental as this slide...It really is bizarre though - I have pinpoint precision to the other sheer line points, except this one. I'd considered just planing down the hump, but pulling it even a quarter of an inch to meet the sheer line point produced such a pronounced defect that I figured I better play it safe.

I went over the form setup at least 6 times before I locked everything in and something still went wrong, so I'll pull all the strips and go over it a 7th time.

I anticipated something like this might happen, so luckily for me, I bolted everything using wingnuts rather than use screws...after having to remove the entire setup twice to reseat them, that one small decision is already paying off :)

In any event, I'll check the forms again today to see if I have any adjustment latitude.
