Gero, you say your life is priceless and have limited resources, please buy the best, This thread brings back bad memories of what cold water can do to the body, The year 1952 4 friends on a fishing trip Chibougamau Qc. Canada,on a river between two lakes, we decided to beach and have lunch my job was to gather fire wood while two fished for lunch and the fourth was to get equipment from the boats(the jobs rotated). One of the boats started drifting away so Joe waded in the water and was able to grab the bow bu somehow the boat hit a ice flow and spun him around he was holding the boat and drifted into fast water,I will never forget the blank look on his face as we ran along the bank,He just slipped into the water.His body was recovered in July
