I use a Bosch jobsite saw

http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Tools/Pages/BoschProductDetail.aspx?pid=GTS1031

It's outfitted with a Diablo finish cut blade, I forget exactly which, but it works well. I've gotten over the initial sticker shock of the wood purchase, and if I have to go out and buy a few more boards that's fine. The way this part of the project is shaping up, I'll have maybe 1 or 2 opportunities to rip that entire stack of wood in one sitting, so whatever gets the job done the fastest is what I'll use.
