Depends how much jing you've got to work with, but I admire Nick's excellent taste in tools. Check out his Kayak Forum Store:

You can spend a lot less but LN are tools that will last at least one lifetime and they are awesome to use. Also check out Lee Valley, they make excellent tools.

And save some $ for some kind of sharpening device. DMT diamond stones are a good way to go. IMO.
