I've realized after many a botched purchase that I need to learn to work with what I have and instead focusing on improving the setup and not so much the tool itself. I have the room to build those outfeed tables, and as it turns out - I happen to have lengths of melamine that I can use...I'll see what I can rig up.

I had to take a short detour today to work on our mailbox post...it's one of the occupational hazards of being a mailbox in New England winters...it's not the first plow that gets you, it's the 10th or 12th in a season...poor things can only take so much of a beating.

Notches are cut out, all I have to do is sand, stain and seal it and it's going in the ground...I mention this only because my last 5 trips down to the basement have been to "work on the mailbox post".
