Hi All,

I'm working on Petrel 2 and am at the point of cutting hatches in the deck. On Petrel 1 I used Nick's hexagonal design slightly modified to avoid the feature line on the deck. This time I'm thinking of hatches roughly rectangular also inside the feature line. I'm planning on using CF rims with internal bungees, but I think with rectangular hatches if I have leak issues I can add external straps easily. On P1 the rear hatch flattened on me so I added 6 Delrin toggles. As on P1 I will be using SS hardware and nylon strapping for the deck rigging.
Any thoughts, comments?
