a couple ideas/observations.

for foam bulkheads you would glue them with a marine grade silicone. this way it is flexible and if you have to remove, easy to cut out. don't epoxy mini-cell foam....not really compatible.

on the foam bulkheads, i did most of my shaping while the hull was apart and then finished it off and installed after the hull is together. if you try to install a foam bulkhead before joining the halves....you will not be able to get your glass tape along the inner seam. unlike a wood bulkehead, a foam bulkhead is made to flex.....so its purpose is to create a water-proof section....but it is not really a structural element.

as was mentioned earlier....try to get all your fittings sorted out while it is apart. you should have a basic idea of your rigging plan. some types of rigging require some extra re-inforcement under the deck. depending on your plan, you may want to do this while the deck is still off.

consider after all the interiour work, but before joining, to do your interior varnish (but not on the seam or areas that may need some more work once together. just a lot easier.

on interior seam tape....best advice i got was two ideas 1) you can do the taping in smaller sections than shown in most books/manuals to give you more control and time. so for me, each side was three pieces - a fore section, a middle section and an aft section (so each piece was only about 5 to 6 ft long. after some experience, probably would now do it in two pieces....but i really appreciated working with smaller pieces the first time out. start with the middle section to build practice with the easiest pieces first. then the second easiest. amazing how much you will learn in these little applications. 2) practice, practice, practice. use your practice sessions to sort out your stick and how it needs to be shaped and how long it needs to be to work for you, to sort out your lighting and how you will see what you are doing (note - practice in the same light you expect to have...i practiced during the day...then tried to execute at night...i did not realize how much sunlight i was initially getting), to practice controlling how to unroll and postion the tape, to sort out if you need to have an assistant ready to help you.

hope that helps
